Let’s face it; there is an abundance of metaverse projects being built on Solana. Few will be around in a year. Even fewer in 5 years.

Creating a metaverse is great, but at the end of the day it needs purpose, sustainability, and interactivity. With a customizable virtual world, built using an automation system allowing for full user control, Scrap City: The New World delivers that.

With quality art, quests, games and freedom of creation, Scrap City combines the allure of the metaverse with the interactivity of a video game, and the visual aspect of art-based NFTs to create the ultimate experience.

Built using the foundations of our very own software, which is proven to provide a pleasant, interactive user experience, The New World has no creative boundaries. As a holder, you have the power to shape it –not just your home, but the environment surrounding it.

As well as your Scrap City NFT providing you with utility within the Meteorverse, we feel it is crucial that the NFT looks just as good inside your wallet. Therefore, we designed the NFTs as 2D Graphics, which is then replicated within the Meteorverse.

Your home will belong to one of four regions in The New World. You will have the option of moving your house to your desired location, replacing aspects of your home, and decorating it from the inside.

Objective

Our mission is to make The New World the home of Solana’s top communities. This means that we will be integrating playable characters based on select projects, with several community headquarters located within our Metaverse.

In addition, we are looking to include games in which NFT holders can opt in to participate in a battle for house accessories.

Story

Scrap City represents a world which — due to a massive meteor strike — has shrunk to the point of being the size of a small town.

There are four regions; each representing a part of the world which used to be a continent on its own, but now resides in Scrap City. Each part contains 1000 houses, in which everyone is equal. There are no wars, no monopolies, and the only major dispute is one pertaining to the country‘s acres of land.

As the meteor hit earth, most houses evaporated, a few ended up merging with houses from other regions, with only a large minority remaining intact.
